12-02-21 Adele plans helicopter travel
Adele is arranging a license so she can be flown around in a helicopter.
The 23-year-old singer recently moved into a country home with her boyfriend Simon Konecki. The ten- bedroom property costs £15,000 a month to rent and is Grade II listed. It has two swimming pools as well as a tennis court and games room.
The house also includes a helipad and hanger for helicopters, which Adele has apparently decided to make use of.
'It will cut down her journey time by some distance and it also means she won't have to rely so heavily on cars,' a source explained to a British newspaper.
'She's a busy woman and needs to get to places with minimal disruption.'
It's thought Adele would like to use the aircraft to take her to and from shows and appearances so she can spend as much time as possible in her new home in West Sussex.
The star is not thought to be planning to get her own helicopter license at the moment.
The singer has a busy day ahead of her as she will be appearing at the Brit Awards in London tonight. She has been nominated for the Best British Female Solo Artist prize and for Best British Single for Someone Like You.
She recently scooped six Grammys so is hotly-tipped to do well.
"I have a soft spot for the Brits, but this year feels really special since last year it kick-started my album into what it's become,' she explained recently. "What a beautiful way to celebrate." |

12-02-21 Rihanna releases Brown remix
Rihanna and Chris Brown have simultaneously released remixes of tracks featuring each other.
The former couple have caused controversy of late with their reconciliation attempts following their messy break-up three years ago. They ended their romance in 2009 when Chris was charged with felony battery after attacking Rihanna during an argument before the Grammys.
However, in recent weeks the pair appear to have grown close again and have been exchanging messages on Twitter.
And now the stars have tweeted remixed versions of their songs featuring each other's guest vocals. Rihanna posted about Chris' single Turn up the Music with an accompanying video.
'Turn up the music remix #RihannaNavy #Teambreezy enjoy!!! (sic)' she wrote, while a remixed version of Rihanna's Birthday Cake track, featuring Chris, arrived online.
'Its a download OVERLOAD!!!! Working on more links for u guys, so errbody could have some #CAKE (sic),' Rihanna added.
Chris's vocals on the new song feature some crude lyrics.
"Girl I wanna f**k you right now. Been a long time I been missing your body. Lemme, lemme turn the lights down. When I, when I go down it's a private party,' he sings.
The song has since been taken down from various sites. |

12-02-21 Jessie J threatens to hit Brits nude 12-02-21 Jessie J threatens to hit Brits nude 12-02-21
Jessie J can't decide what to wear to the Brit Awards tonight, so is threatening to go naked.
The singer has been nominated for three prizes at the prestigious UK music event this year. She is in the running for Best Female, Best Breakthrough & Best single for Price Tag.
Jessie is looking forward to the ceremony, but has no idea which eye-catching outfit to choose. The star is famed for her outrageously glamorous catsuits, but admits she is running out of time and may even shock the audience with a casual look.
"I would say I've got an outfit planned but I'd be lying. So at the moment I'm going naked,' she told British newspaper The Sun. "I wore a see-through catsuit at The Brits launch last month and everyone was like, 'She wore the same thing a year before.'
"Maybe I should go casual in Nike Jordans, jeans, woolly hat, T-shirt. No make-up."
Jessie J has enjoyed worldwide success in the past year after winning the Critics' Choice prize. The award is given to new British acts that are tipped for future success and previous recipients include Adele, Ellie Goulding and Florence + the Machine.
Jessie, 23, is grateful to the Brit Awards for kick-starting her career.
"I just feel so, so honoured to be associated with British music. Last year I won the Critics' Choice award. But I didn't know what the year would bring or if people would buy my album, whether they would like me or not like me. Or hate me. So a year on to be nominated for three awards is amazing,' she smiled.
"Tinie Tempah is fun to hang out with and I can't wait to see Adele perform and give her a hug and tell her how proud I am of her. Ed Sheeran is great to watch too. I think he'll definitely collect an award."
The Brit Awards will take place on Tuesday evening at the O2 Arena in London. |
